Hi,

Please can you help me with adding widgets to my website. I have Romancart shopping cart. To place a product widget on my website the code below is automatically generated.

I am using the Neutral Two tone wizardry template.

My understanding is that I only have the one template page to make changes to and can't actually access individual pages that contain the coding. Does this mean that I cannot use widgets on Soholaunch?

Thank you.

1. Add the following line before the </head> tag on your web page.

<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript" SRC="http://remote.romancart.com/js/roc_button.asp"></script>

2. Place the next line in the body of your page where you want the widget to appear.<div id='ROC_display'></div>

3. Place the final line at the bottom of the page just before the </body> tag. <script>ROC_buttonWidget('ROC_display','57591',38,0);</script>     Multiple Widgets per Page You can have more than one widget on a page. Only include the code from box 1 above once. However for each extra widget, have extra lines of box 2 and 3. Change 'ROC_display' in those extra lines to something else e.g. 'ROC_display2'.   Multiple Widget Templates on one Website You can force a different template for a widget. Change the '0' to the Id of the widget template in the code you use from box 3 above.

I am not a user of Romancart but it looks like you need to add the step 1 and 2
to the template as described.
Step 3 you would use the custom button in the page editor to add that to whatever
page you want it on as there may be different ones.
Your template can be changed by using FTP or your cpanel by going to the file manager.
/public_html/sohoadmin/program/modules/site_templates/pages/template name
Look for the index.html page.
You may want to make a soho backup before you change anything.

Hi Dresswell,

Many thanks for your answer, I will back up and try as you suggest. One more quick question - I advertise on Google and FB and would like to track conversions, could you recommend something?

Thank you.

If you have the latest soho update you should have a Google button
in your sohoadmin.
From there you can add Google webmaster tools and Google analytic
for tracking.
I am not a big fan of FB.
But there are soho plugins here:
