Actually right now I do not need help.  I just wanted to post a big thank you to Dresswell for his tolerance of my 10,000 questions as I was tearing away through the Soho code to use it in a sire for a new client.  What we have come up with is a rather custmized version of soho using the blog abd calendar features embedded into a new site with HTML5 and CSS3.  The site is realy starting to look great now.  I spendt quite a few hours looking at some very detailed sewctions of Soho and with teh helkp of DResswell I was able to accomplish every last mod I wnated to do.  So thanks fror the help.  We have a very satisfied customer on this project!  He is extremely happy with the use of soho.

in case y'all did not see the link elsewhere, the temporary entry page to the site is at http://www.joeyshotd...om/jh_index.php and any comments are welcome.

The store oner actually loved that concept.  Two tables in MySQL, a couple of PHP scripts, and a cron job run that.

Table 1 - List of pages on the site that snappy can be hiding on.

Table 2 - List of prizes.

Script 1 - Pick a page and prize of the day

Script 2 - Included in each page where snappy may be hiding, diplays snappy if that page is the page of the day

Cron - Picks random page and prize of the day ensuring no back to back repeats.

The hidden Snappy is lightboxed to a ful size Snappy image and a the current prize of the day image.

1 that is to small to see and 2nd seeing snappy on the bottom of the home page

is a bit mis leading.

Just my option.

I would think you would pi** more people off than that would even keep looking for snappy.

Your not looking for waldo!!
I am just saying as a user of that site.
It may be better to make it easy for everyone to find it!!
Maybe allowing them to get a % off there next order where they
can print a coupon or state a code when ordering.
Not just a hide and seak kind of thing.
That way everyone wins.
Most people don't like looking for waldo.
Just saying.
You have a great option there i just think you can make it work
better for your clients web users that go to the web site to find it.

I understand your point.  The client wants a seek and find sort of thing.  I did edit the 180 x 100 image on the home page to be a littel more specific about finding snappy.  My meeting with the client is Tuesday.  I'll let you knwo what is reaction to the site is.  I have gotten pretty positive feedback thus far.  We will be ready to go live as soon as he gives me content for the unfinished pages and he enters real data in teh blogs and calendars.
