Hi

I have set up a shop where the client downloads a tutorial after payment. Everything works fine with the transaction going to PayPal, and then back to the website to allow the download after payment processing.
However, the email invoice that the client receives includes a link to allow them to download the file again. And if the email is forwarded, it allows the receiver to download as well.
How do I get the link removed from the Client invoice.

i don't know how BUT if the user cuts and past the link you send them after payment. Could they them forwarded that to friends ?

Maybe setting up a member login or something. But again they can give that login to friends.

Thanks Dresswell. I have installed the add-on and it has solved the problem of the access. Note that the email still has the link, which no longer works. If there was a way to remove this link it would be ideal, but I can add a message to the invoice that states that the link does not work.

Did you try to update your soho, even if it is the same build.
Otherwise you would remove the file from the sku/product
that they would download.
That will remove the link in the invoice.
But you would need to send them the link in an email
or attach it to the invoice.
I dont sell files so you may also want to resave the sku/product
in your shopping cart to see if the link works once resaved.

Hi Dreswell

Yesterday when I tested the secure log-on add-on I was still logged in and using the site as admin. Once I logged out and tried as a different client, the add-on did not work correctly. In the shop I added my name and a password to register my name. When I was returned back to my site from PayPal, after payment was completed, I was forced to login again to complete my transaction. When I tried to log-on using the info I provided for the registration, I was told invalid id or my access had expired. When I tried logging in from the email link I had the same problem. All of the hep and forum links on the soho-addon site go to a 404 page.

No question here, just thought you might like the update.
