11thdistrictamec.org
The front page is a 'splash page' that has a 'custom include' flash movie on it.
The page named 'Home' has scrolling announcements (javascript), latest news blog, The Upcoming Events rotates 'PROMOTXT'.
The 'Components" page has dynamic text pulled from seperate Blog subjects, like a weekly update, for the respective groups on the page. And the page also displays 3 calendar events for each group pulled from the Event Calendar (thanks jeffhope).
The regions page shows a map with a database keyword search on it. When you click on the color-coded regions of the state, a custom php returns all the churches found in that region of the map. Because the page includes an <IFRAME>, you are never taken to a different page on the website. It also adds a scroll bar when needed so your page isn't a mile long. In the password protected area there is also several forms that enter data into mysql. This data is used to automatically update links and the info shown on the page with the map.

This site looks great!!! Great job incorporating the j-script and PROMOTXT under the menu. This is a great example of thinking outside the box. Very clever use of template variables.
