What template are you using?

Edit this file: sohoadmin/program/modules/site_templates/pages/MEDITATION-Suahini-Brown3/index.html and change the first line after the <body> tag from:
<div class="bgcol" style="width: 810px;">
to:
<div class="bgcol" style="width: 810px; margin:0 auto;">
Make sure to make a backup copy before doing any changes.

<div class="bgcol" style="width: 810px; margin:0 auto;">

I already changed the line in index.html and nothing happened... now what to do?

It does not work with IE (figures...)
Change two lines to:
<div class="bgcol" style="margin:0 auto;">
<table id="head_table" width="780px" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" align="center">

I changed the last line that you provided and it moved only about 1/2 a centimeter to the right, not quite the center

In mozilla is in the center though. So that is the way with IE, not all the way to the center?

You need to remove the width in the <div> line, too.
