On my signature...

Would you please tell me what you think ?

As long as it is constructive,
any remark is welcomed.

While I have this site of mine on my comp's screen,
I do not see any arrow, on top of my screen,
was it for going forward (next), or for going backward (precedent)...

Do you have, on your screen,
such arrows, while viewing my site ?

If not, how do I put these useful arrows ?

:)

Thank you for any comment, any help.

I like it, though I have a purely aesthetic question - since it is, in essence, an art site, have you thought about drawing the logo instead of having just text?

Thank you Draknet.

Yes, of course I thought about it, but since free templates
(at least, the ones I consider good for my purpose)
do not seem to allow a logo in their headers, I gave up...

I have so many questions
(not all finding an answer even in this forum),
that I didn't want to bother anybody about this logo question...

:hmm:

P.S.: what about the arrows ?
Are they displayed on your screen,
while you explore my site ?

I am very interested in the logo question or for that matter, having something like even a banner in the section where the name of the site goes.

Also, how did you change your background color for your page from that awful white to gray?

Scythian: not bad for a first attempt, but as your ptoduct is so good, I would consider investing in a professionally built template to reflect the quality of work your site offers.

Pretty Star: the colours of text, backgrounds, etc are controlled by the template's css file, usually custom.css found in the template folder; although with some templates, there are some formatting features built in to the index.html file for that termplate too...

Have a look at both files for the template you are using and look for the element you want to change (probably body: background)

As for putting in a logo instead of text on the banner - if you're happy with editing html you can achieve this pretty especially if the template index.html file doesn't offer a #logoimg# tag (the tag for a logo image!) or the image you want is larger then the tag allows for.

PrettyStar, I'm a complete newby...

If the background of my site appears greyish,
it's only because that's how Neutral Kiss Red is designed.

Thank you very much, dear Dr Jon.

I'll first wait and see if my "so good product" sells good in the WWW.

Then, I will definitely consider to have a more fitting template.

You can do one thing to greatly improve the shopping cart experience.

Suppose the visitor comes to your site and click on "order now". They see three products (no image). It is therefore very difficult for the visitor to figure out what your products are.

You should add image(s) to your products via sohoadmin > shopping cart > open/edit products.

This is something I thought about,
not knowing if I would do it, actually.

Since you suggest this,
I'll add the (thumbnail) images,
so that the customer knows what he/she's buying.

Thank you Lwyau.

:)

EDIT:

Instead of putting thumbnails for each variation
(which would perhaps be a real mess),
I put the "Order Celebrity Caricature shopping cart"
in the "Celebrities Caricatures" page.

And also,
I put the "Order a Pet caricature shopping cart"
in the "Pet caricatures" page.

Still, in the "Order Now" page,
the customer will be able to order his/her very caricature
and/or his/her very pet caricature.
