Hi folks

My website is now live and if anyone has any comments/suggestions etc then feel free to fire them at me.

Im still uploading stock and doing the odd tweaks but the main crux is there.

Let me know what you think

Congratulations on your new website. It shows the amount of efforts you put in building it!

Two suggestions regarding your product images:

1. Most of the images show reflections of the camera's flash light. Reflections tend to distract. Try to take images with natural light only. Find a well-lit place and use a tripod to steady the camera if necessary. I know it's a lot of work to re-shoot all the images, but you can do them in your own pace.

2. Some product images are fairly large, so it pays to have thumbnails to speed up the page load. Use a photo/image software program to resize main images into thumbnails.

Hi Lwyau

Thanks for your comments.

A friend of mine also commented on the flash in the pics and I am currently working through to replace them.....thanks though as you have reaffirmed how people percieve it.

Regarding the images, I am saving them as a small web view with different software so Im not sure how to get around this.

I had a similar problem with my old website even though I was saving them small.

Are the photo's taking a while to download when you view?

Thanks again for your comments, anything welcomed as it helps me make improvements.

Thanks Matt. It has taken rather a long time and still is as I have over 1000 products to still put on....so it will probably take a year

Thanks for your comments, it's good to hear people's views on it.
