I want to see if there is anyone out there who can help me design my own template.

Thank you!

I guess it'll depend on how much "help" do you need...

If you are comfortable with HTML, CSS and image editing, read this document: http://wiki.soholaun...ustom_Templates. You can then build your own templates.

If you'd rather see what are available, visit here: http://addons.sohola....com/templates/. There are many templates available either for free or for a price.

You can also engage professional services offered by many here in the form. Here's my shameless plug: http://soholaunch.lw...m_Templates.php.

is there a way to change the available templates and adjust them to my needs? For example, I'm using the template "neutral - kiss (purple)", but I don't want the purple bar on top of the page. I just want the menu on the left. I would also like to change the backround color from gray to white. How can I do this?

Thanks for the help dresswell. I downloaded a teplate from the link you gave me, and was able to change some stuff. I have a question tho, the template I used is Wine Extras White which has a horizontal menu bar, but it doesnt have a subcategory. (maybe you can check it out to know waht I mean)

For example, I want on my menu to say "clothes" "accesories" "home". Under "clothes", when you click it, I would like to have sub-menus such as "women" "men", etc... With this menu I can't.

Hope I made myself clear... :(

You are right -- this template has no provision for sub-menu.

Change both home.html and index.html files in your template folder. Locate these lines:
    <tr>
      <td valign="top" align="left" bgcolor="#D5DFEC">#HMAINS#</td>
    </tr>
Change them to:
    <tr>
      <td valign="top" align="left" bgcolor="#D5DFEC">#HMAINS#</td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
      <td valign="top" align="left" bgcolor="#D5DFEC">#HSUBS#</td>
    </tr>
You will then have a horizontal sub-menu beneath the horizontal main menu.

Thanks Iwyau, still need some help

I can't find the text I'm supossed to change... I opened the unzipped folder that contains the template, and there are 2 internet files (home & index), but they open on the explorer and they have the original images with little text. Then, back to the unzipped folder, there is also a file that opens on the Evrsoft First Page (html program), but I can't find the text there either... Please help me!!

While you're at it, can you help me also with this:
-I would like to change to color of the menu bar as well as the bar at the bottom, what is the html code for that and where can I find it?
-Is there a way of making button like images on the menu? And how can I make the font on the menu smaller?

Thanks a lot!

It does not appear that you have worked with HTML codes...

I don't mind giving folks a nudge or two to get the results they want, but would rather not taking over the whole process. I hope you understand.

Iwyau,

I used to work a bit with html codes on myspace pages and so a few years ago, not much, but I did get to understand it by changing some stuff and watching what hapened.
I would really apreciate if you could just tell me where I can find the folder or file where the html codes are.
Because I didn't find them (as I told you) on the template folder... I can take it from there by changing things and seeing what happens.

I need to have a submenu on my page :(

Thanks

You locate your template files in sohoadmin/program/modules/site_templetes/pages/templatename/ folder. templatename is probably "Extra-Wines-White", though you have to find it. This is explained here: http://wiki.soholaun...ath_full_url.23, the same document I mentioned before.
