Java Applets.....

.....Anybody know how to insert a java applet onto a page? Tried file upload but doesn't seem to work. TIA

Since .jar or .class is not a permissible file type for file manger, you can do it in one of the two methods that I know: 1) FTP it yourself, and 2) Fake it and rename the file with a permissible file extension say .zip, then you can reference it as "media/xxxx.zip" instead of "media/xxxx.jar".
